Last day out before baby arrives!

Hi there,

A long but enjoyable day.

First, we went to Ang Mo Kio cause I needed to collect my Everlast Spectacles. Then we left for Peninsula Shopping Centre. At Peni, we had our lunch at a Japanese Restaurant then went shopping. Huili finally got her electric violin with speaker.haha. Mei and Xiaomei went shopping for their skinny pants. And after a huge effort of searching, they finally found a black one. Phew!

Next, we left for Esplanade. As soon as we arrived, we went over to Marina Sq. Walked around and bought a Puma bag to carry Baby's stuff while Mei and Xiaomei bought a couple of shirts too. Then we had FONDUE at Movenpick. Sad to say, it was the worst I had tried. Hmm....however, the service was pretty good.

Finally, we went to the roof of the Esplanade to take photos. Fun loh! hehe. Left for home after that. Looking forward to another such day.

Dear Reader,

Welcome back. A trip to IMM's Cafe Cartel. Nice time for lunch though. In between lunch and dinner. Well, we had quite a feast. Free flow of bread that tasted really good. Once again, we couldn't finish our food! haha

After the meal, we went over to take a look at some watches and guess what.....

We bought another couple of watches. 1 addidas, 1 sovil titus and 3 everlast.

Left home after that. Tiring day.

Hi to whoever reading this....

After yet another exhausting day, we finally settled down for dinner. Mummy, Baby, Xiaomei, Mei and Me!

Well, same old food as usual. Once again, its xiaomei who ate the most! Goodness! When will her appetite go down. HAHAHA!

It was after dinner that we had a good laugh. We wanted to buy watches but it just happened that the shop was closed! haha. Maybe another day.

Hi there again,

After a tiring day in school, we finally got to relax over dinner.

Went Sakae Sushi. haha. At first it was only 3 of us, then my parents came to join us. It was an enjoyable evening. Left at about 7 for home. Xiaozhu actually ate 12 coloured plates! haha. suppose to be a secret but..... don't tell anyone you read about this ok? hahahaha.

Hello folks,

Another day out. I would say that this was quite a fruitful day.

Mummy and me brought Xiaomei to AMK to make her new specs at my good friend's dad's shop. The frame cost $100, so after adding the cost of the lenses...... still $100. haha. And it is International standard UV400. What an incredible deal. To add on to, we even get to collect it in 15 minutes time. WOW! (xiaomei very happy liao loh, at least now monday she can see the board during lessons in class-----Well, xiaomei, better look after your eyes ok? you know what i mean bah)

After settling the specs, we left for Plaza Singapura.... Lost our way again. haha. Had to make a big turn back to fort canning road from victoria street. What a joke. We parked at Park Mall and then took a stroll over to Plaza Singapura.

We took the escalator up to the top and started walking down shop by shop, level by level. On arriving at the Kopitiam, we went in to have a drink.... Coconut Juice! haha. Next we went into Yamaha music shop, played the piano for awhile then continued with our shopping. We came across a very interesting shop(CNS shop) selling very nice stuffs like key chains, mini booklets, etc.... Purchased a few items there before leaving. Little did we know we were to return later. Hahaha.

At about 6.30pm, we walked over to Park Mall for dinner at Kublai Khan Restaurant, level 4. It was buffet style..... Siok leh! Had our full and more. haha. Interestingly they had fondue there too. We of course helped ourselves with it. haha. We were supposed to dip the stick of fruits and marshmallows into it however, xiaomei took a SPOON! HAHAHA. So we filled the sticks full of goodies on the plates with spoonfuls of chocolate. haha. Worst of all, we left the spoon inside the chocolate pot. And the subsequent customers actually used it too. Now because of us, everyone started using the spoon to scoop tons of chocolate into their plates. HAHA. Xiaomei, even dripped some of the chocolate on her dress and arm. Clumsy right? After stuffing ourselves with all the delicacies we went back over to Plaza Singapura.

Needing to help our stomach digest the food, we went back to the shop I was talking about just now. Bought a couple more things there before entering a neighboring shop. There we bought 2 photo albums, one pink the other blue. haha. the pink Pooh bear album was for xiaomei, the other is for baby Caleb. Then we moved on.... entered a paper design shop filled with very interesting paper thingys! Apart from myself, Mummy and Xiaomei were really excited, fussing over the different varieties available there. Spent $80 in that shop! ON PAPERS! hahahahaha.

After all the paper fuss, we walked back to Park Mall to collect our car and then drove home. Tiring but extremely fun day for us. Enjoy the pictures! Don't mind some disgusting pictures. Some might appear gross. hehe.

Dinner at Ichiban

It has been quite awhile since the last posting. Well, it has been a busy period so......

anyway, here's the latest.

We went over to IMM for dinner. Can't remember the shop name..... Ichiban Sushi I think.

Being greedy and hungry we ordered quite alot of food. Haha. What gluttons we were. The food was really good for the price we paid. After a filling lunch, we went shopping to aid our digestion. Joey wanted to buy a shirt from Giodano so we went in search for it. Unknowing that the shop was just behind us, we took a long walk round the whole first level before finally arriving at the shop. Bother! And to add on, Joey couldn't find the colour she wanted! Too bad then....

So without buying anything, we left for home.

Hi dear readers and friends,

Well, I'm back for another update.

It's going to be long because this entry stretches for 4 days. So bear with me. Thanks.

Let's start with the first day.

10th mar......

Woke up quite early to get ready the things to bring to the chalet. Then at about 10 plus in the morning, left with my wife to go and fetch xiaozhu(joey). We went over to IMM first to do some last minute shopping for the chalet and conveniently had lunch there. I had my hair cut. Haha. Was quite a comedy..... as my hair was relatively long, I told the barber to cut it very short. The funny thing as that he used the shaver to shave the back of my head. Haha, frightened the hell of out my wife and xiaozhu.

After leaving IMM, we went back to get our stuffs and pack it into the car. Drove over to my parents' place to collect the rest of the stuffs. It was raining cats and dogs. We had to load everything into the car UNDER THE RAIN. What a day to start with. Drove over to the chalet at Aloha Loyang around Pasir Ris and checked in. Time was about 3.30pm. Did all the unpacking and got ready to start the first night of bbq. Fortunately, my dad brought a mini barbecue pit meant for satay. Or else we wouldn't be able to barbecue at all. What a joke. It rained the whole night long. However, we managed to barbecue some satay and otahs to fill our growling stomach. Whew!

After the BBQ, we drove over to Loyang to shop at the 24 hours shop n save supermart. Strolled around for quite awhile before returning to the chalet. Played mahjong till who knows what time. Hahaha. Zzzzzzzzzz.....

11th mar.......

Woke up at about 6am to sent Ningzhen to the MRT station because she had to go back to school for lessons. We bought Macdonald back to the chalet for breakfast, then slept after that.

Woke up quite late. Didn't really do much except to play plenty of mahjong and psp. What a bored right? Well, had bbq that night again. Then went out yet again to Loyang. This time we had Thai fish head curry for supper. YUMMY!! It was really good.

12th mar.......

As usual, woke up at 6 plus to sent Ningzhen and Jieying to Pasir Ris MRT. Then went back to the chalet but couldn't sleep. Ended up watching TV with Joey. My parents were as usual up very early. They cooked breakfast. After breakfast, we all went to the beach for a stroll except for Huili(still sleeping-oink!). On our way back, Chris bought a couple of water guns(2 big and 3 small- cause we didn't bring enough money)........ and it was water war back at the chalet. Haha. what a mess! My dad, mum, Chris, Huili, Joey and myself were all embroiled in a battle of water squirting under the rain! Had a bath after that exhausting battle and most of us went to catch a nap. Prepared for the bbq that night. Were expecting quite a lot of friends to turn up..... but.....only a few turned up in the end.....

Lawrence and Wendy had to look after Tricia

Chaileng was sick.... so Yue Heng had to look after her. (Meiling said)

Aiwei had cell group, Yuting went back to JB, Kwee Keng exhausted after days of extra lessons.

So.... those who came were.....

Cheong (who had a tiff with his wife using msg), Meiling, Patrick and Carole and little Jo-El

Liquin and her husband came after that....

Seah and his GF came after the rest had left. Hahaha. but anyway... thanks bro for coming.

As you can see, the percentage turn out wasn't good, so we had quite alot of leftovers. However, FEAR NOT..... we had HUILI..... the NIGHT SCAVENGER! hahahahaha. It was already pass midnight when she suddenly said that she was hungry. So the amazing Huili ate the WHOLE LOAF OF BREAD together with ALL THE OTAHS. WOW!!!! must more effective than a vulture.... hehehe. Played mahjong again till nearly all were down and out. slept at 4 plus in the morning.

13th mar......

Woke up early again to sent Ningzhen and Jieying to the MRT then went back to the chalet and sleep. Sadly we had to wake up early to check out. So we all woke up to pack the things back into the car. Just when my parents, Chris and me were about to finish packing all the stuffs, the 2 PIGS woke up(Huili and Joey-oink oink!!!!). We returned the keys at about 9am and.... the funniest thing happened.... we lazed at the chalet till 1.45pm before leaving for a sumptuous lunch. We had half a duck, 4 bowls of minced meat noodles, 3 plates of rice, a bowl of wanton soup and a plate of bbq pork. Phew! What a meal. What a comedy. After lunch was home sweet home............

chilling out in Orchard

Another weekend, another day out, another much needed break.

This time our destination is ORCHARD ROAD.

It's been ages since we've been there. So this is indeed a fresh experience. Unfortunately, Huili had to leave early, so we all left at 6pm. Too short a time spent because we only arrived at about 2 plus. However, it was really fun. All the shopping and shopping and more shopping was just....

incredible. Joey was the only one who bought anything there. She bought a shirt from Mango for $15 I think. We had two meals there if you would include our ice-cream feast. The first was at a Japanese restaurant. The food there was relatively good, but we paid good money for it too.

There were a couple of interesting incidents. However I can only remember one. haha. It's actually our journey there, we wanted to park in an open space carpark however, it was full so we had to turn a big round back to find a shopping centre to park and we ended up parking in the Forum.

Hi, here for more updates again.....

Well, we went to IMM for lunch after school. Once there, we realised that there were jut too many choices. After much pondering, we finally decided on a Hong Kong restaurant at the ground floor. The food there is reasonably good. Of course I won't say that it is excellent but definately better than average.

Soon after we filled our stomachs, we went shopping.haha. Went home after that at about 4plus.

Bugis 230208

Back to Bugis once again. Getting bored with the place but.... whatever....

Went there in the afternoon for lunch at Crystal Jade. We had 4 sets of Xiao Long Bao. Greedy us.

haha. Next we went shopping to aid digestion.

Went over to Bugis street. Both Huili and Joey bought tonnes of cloths there. Wow! 2 crazy girls.haha. It was there that I realized that my friend has a shop smacked in the middle of Bugis street. So coincidental.

After a afternoon in the street, we went over to Bugis Junction. That was when the real spending exploded. We spent $402 in G2000. Massive!

Left for home after that, haha, didn't have money left to eat..... just joking.....

valentines day 2008

Hello again folks. I know you must be wondering why there are so many postings within a day.

Well, just trying to put it down before it becomes a long gone memory.

4 of us when to VIVO city to celebrate our valentines day. Aaron, Chris, Demi and Joey were all involved in this unique day. haha. Upon reaching vivo, we hurriedly went around in search of a restaurant to have our stomach filled. We went to and fro to find one that suits us before finally settling on Sushi. It was a very filling meal, tasty and appetizing.

After having our fill, we went shopping. The 3 pretty ladies bought necklaces on the expense of the poor boy. HAHA. Well, Demi and Joey went into toys-r-us to buy a huge mickey mouse for caleb. It was so cute!!!!! Then we took alot of photos with it. Looked so much like tourist taking photos.

All the walking and chatting made us hungry again. So we went yet again in search of food. In the end, we settled down in Hagen Das to have chocolate fondue. Soooo tasty.

Left for home after that.

Bugis street

December 2007

Second trip was to Bugis. It was just a very normal shopping excursion. Demi bought a couple of shirts while the rest couldn't find what they wanted. A short outing but worth remembering.

Sorry, no pictures to show for this day because....... possibly Handphones were all down? or maybe...... just maybe we were lazy that day to take pictures.

Hello again, this is our third outing within the month. A trip to Bugis street.

It was very simply a shopping expedition to a local shopping paradise for the youths of Singapore. All the weird accessories and clothings that teenagers wear today can be easily found there.

We spent the whole afternoon roaming around the lanes filled with different shops with their own unique style. Where do you think we found that extra energy to shop? Obviously it's because of a filling lunch in Bugis' Billy Bombers. The lunch was comical because we were like a bunch of photo maniacs taking photos of each other in the restaurant. Well on the whole, a very enjoyable trip. Well, as you have read, there were many photos taken on that day.

A trip to the zoo

December 2007

It was a cooling morning with a cloudy sky hovering above us. We met at a Macdonalds in the west near Jurong West for breakfast. After filling our empty stomach, we drove to Mandai.

On the way there, the skies started to open. It made us wonder whether our plans for the day would come to nothing. Thankfully, upon reaching our destination, the Singapore Zoological Gardens, the rain stopped. We were all delighted.

We purchased the entry tickets and trotted pass the entrance. It was really fun because we managed to walk around the zoo covering nearly every animal that was on showcase there. There were a couple of interesting events that happened. The first was due to an uncooperative sky who bursted into tears just when we were beginning to feel exhausted. We hopped onto the tram and when round the zoo 3 TIMES. HAHAHA. What a joke. We were all tired and worn out coupled together with the drizzle that refused to stop, we decided to remain on the tram for as long as we could. The second was along the orchid garden. We actually spent up to an hour there admiring the flowers and taking pictures of it. Rather than capturing the beauty of the 4 of us, we took pictures of the different varieties of orchids with the photo count numbering close to 30. Amazingly crazy. Haha. Oh! There was another incident just when we were about to leave for dinner. We found a baby bird on the floor and I took it up in my huge palm to safety. What a hero. HEHE. It was really cute.

Come evening, we had our dinner at the KFC right outside the exit. After that we left for home.

A really meaningful day. Whew.
